Appointments & consultations

Please bring any relevant medical reports, previous test results and a list of your medications. If you have had nasal surgery before, any available operation records may also be helpful.
Dr. Yıldız will discuss your concerns, medical history and expectations before carrying out an examination. You will have time to ask questions and discuss suitable treatment options, including their benefits, limitations and recovery.
Rhinoplasty & nasal surgery
This depends on your nasal structure, general health and what you would like to change. A consultation helps clarify what is achievable and whether surgery is an appropriate option for you.
In suitable cases, functional and aesthetic concerns can be addressed in the same operation. Your nasal airway and external nasal structure are assessed together when planning treatment.

Recovery & follow-up
Some swelling, bruising and temporary nasal blockage are common. You will receive individual instructions on caring for your nose, managing discomfort and attending follow-up appointments.
Many patients allow around one to two weeks before returning to desk-based work. Physically demanding work and exercise usually require a longer break. Your return should follow your surgeon’s advice and your progress with healing.
The appearance of your nose changes gradually as swelling settles. Early changes become visible in the first weeks, while finer definition can take a year or longer, depending on your skin, procedure and healing.
Contact the clinic if you have questions or notice an unexpected change. Heavy or persistent bleeding, worsening pain or fever require prompt medical advice. For a medical emergency, seek urgent local care rather than waiting for an online reply.

Yes. Alongside his focus on rhinology and nasal surgery, Dr. Yıldız assesses ear, nose and throat concerns. You can contact the clinic to discuss the reason for your visit.
No. Nasal blockage can have different causes, including inflammation, allergies and structural problems. Treatment depends on the cause, and surgery is not necessary for every patient.
Septoplasty addresses the partition inside the nose, usually to improve airflow when it is deviated. Rhinoplasty changes the shape and structure of the nose. When appropriate, the two may be combined.
